Exeter have officially confirmed, with a statement, that a fee has been agreed for Dean Moxey.

“Exeter City’s Official Website can exclusively reveal that Exeter City and Derby County have agreed a fee for the transfer of Dean Moxey.

The ball is now in the player’s court after a transfer fee was agreed today but Dean will have to agree terms and have a medical before a move to the Midlands can be rubberstamped.

We believe the agreed fee is a good deal for the Football Club and it reflects the fantastic talent that Dean is whilst taking into account that his contract expires next summer.

We are sure that Dean will be a huge hit in the Championship should he make the decision to leave the club and we will update you as soon as we receive any more transfer news here at exetercityfc.co.uk.”

Read the statement on the official Exeter website.

Negotiations had been ongoing with the South West club after our opening offer had been rejected, so all that is now needed for the left-sided players, primarily a left back, is for personal terms to be agreed then the deal is done.
