When former Rams loan player Michael McIndoe scored a double for Wolves, it looked like it would give his side a 2-1 victory against Birmingham City and deny the Rams promotion rivals three VITAL points.

But late goals from Gary McSheffrey and a Cameron Jerome strike but the blues in front, with only four minutes to go.

But McIndoe had the chance in stoppage-time to equalise for the home side but his penalty was saved and Birmingham leapfrogged the Rams and Sunderland to go top of the league.

  • GunnerB I don’t support Derby so I hope they do blow it! We all know that if Derby went up they’d go straight back down and that is a fact not debateable. Even with the influx of money coming into the Premier League next summer that’ll be taken out of all the clubs that go up thanks to the chairmen and you can bet they won’t reinvest in the squad. Therefore you still need a bit of wealth and I don’t see how the Derby board could acheive such a high feat.
