Steve McClaren wants his Derby County side to finish the season in good form and to claim third place in the table as a reward for their hard work this season.

The Rams’ play-off place was secured before their back-to-back victories over the Easter weekend and the Head Coach doesn’t want them to ease off in the final two games of the season. Watford visit the iPro Stadium later today before the trip to Elland Road to take on Leeds United on the final day of the season. Derby beat The Hornets 3-2 when they visited Vicarage Road earlier this season and McClaren wants them to repeat the outcome to clinch third place in the table telling dcfc.co.uk:

“We want to finish where we are now, in third place. We`ve come too far to let it slip away now. We need a point and we must get ourselves over the line. We`ve had other challenges along the way this season and achieved them, so this is the next one.”
