With Nigel Clough looking to reduce the squad at Derby one of the first to go could be Claude Davis.

Andrejs Pereplotkins actually became the first when his loan arrangement was terminated by mutual consent, but as Davis has struggled to make much of an impact at Pride Park since his arrival from Sheffield United with injuries and loss of form the Jamaican international could be next. The defender has been restricted to only a handful of appearances this season, the last of which came in November.

After defenders, young and old, returned to Derby recently from loan spells away Davis is looking very much as though he could be surplus to requirements and skysports.com is reporting that Leeds are looking to take him to Elland Road, with Simon Grayson looking to make him his first signing?
