Joe Ledley is excited to be back playing again after signing a short-term deal with Derby County and breaking into the team.
Having been released by Crystal Palace at the end of his contract in the summer Ledley was without a club until signing a short-term deal that will keep him at Pride Park until Christmas. The Welsh international made his debut, and scored his side’s goal, in the 1-1 draw with Brentford and talking to dcfc.co.uk about being back playing Ledley said:
“I`ve waited a long time to be back playing, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication off the field and it`s paid off. Just being in the changing room, getting ready and getting all of the adrenalin back into me – you do miss the feeling and it’s just great being out there.”
