Johnson – Away Form Must Improve

Bradley Johnson says Derby County’s away form must improve next season if they want to pus up the table.

The Rams won only seven of their twentythree games away from Pride Park last season and Johnson knows this needs to improve if they are to close the gap on the play-off places, or higher, next time around. Talking to dcfc.co.uk the former Leeds midfielder said:

“We know the away form has to improve and we have been a team that everyone wants to beat in the last few years. Our traveling fans go in big numbers and create a great atmosphere, so we need to reward them more. You have to earn the right to win in this league and away from home you do have to dig in more and grind it out.”
