Paul Jewell was content with a point gained against a good Swansea side on Tuesday night, a point that he thinks is another good confidence builder on top of last weekends win.

‘It was important to get something from the game because we have had an horrendous time as everybody knows.

‘We got a great result on Saturday and to get a point away to a good team like Swansea shows we are moving in the right direction, albeit slowly.

‘We did OK, no more than OK, but when we have done OK in the past, we have been beaten.

‘We have worked hard and, without ever playing great, we have got a good point.’

Jewell was talking to the Evening Telegraph.

A victory to add to that against the home win over Sheffield United would’ve been brilliant, but to come back from a goal down and earn a point at Swansea, thanks to Stephen Pearson’s goal, is more than acceptable, so four points out of six against Sheffield United and Swansea is something that I feel most would’ve accept, wouldn’t they?
