Derby County`s international contingent had a big impact for their respective countries ahead of the final round of World Cup Qualifiers.

Ikechi Any and Chris Martin were both involved for Scotland as they came off the bench to help Gordon Strachan`s side to a vital 1-0 victory over Slovakia to keep their qualification hopes alive. Anya drove into the area and crossed low towards Martin who nearly got a touch but forced Martin Skrtel to divert into his own net to secure the win for Scotland.

Tom Lawrence also played his part for Wales scoring the only goal of the game as they won 1-0 in Georgia with fellow Ram Joe Ledley also starting the game for Chris Coleman`s side. The win sets up a winner takes all showdown with the Republic of Ireland on Monday night for a place in the play-offs to qualify for Russia next summer. Richard Keogh was an unused substitute as Ireland beat Moldova 2-0 to setup the decider in Cardiff.
