Injury has ruled Kris Commons out of Scotland’s World Cup qualifier against Holland on Saturday.

Commons last played for us against Forest way back on February 21, and has had a calf problem since, but was still called into the squad along with Gary Teale. This injury has seen Commons return to Pride Park for further assessment and treatment, but he will link-up with the Scots again and could be fit for next Wednesday’s match with Iceland.

More importantly for us, if he makes that match he will be fit to return for us after the international break.
