Hull City v Derby County match review

|

Martyn Waghorn opened the scoring at Hull on Tuesday will he start on Saturday?

The Rams take on Hull City just over four days since their 4-0 devastation of the Tigers, but both teams could be vastly different in personnel for Saturday’s game.

Derby played an attacking front three on Tuesday night, which worked well but will any of the players feature at the weekend. Most will, of course, feature in the squad for the game but who will start?

Hull are looking to bring in up to four new players before the Transfer window closes on Friday night at 5.00pm but Derby is more likely to be loaning players out rather than bringing any into the already bloated Rams squad but Frank may have a  trick or two left up his sleeve as he has a vast network of contacts within the game and especially at Chelsea and Manchester City.

Referee John Brooks in action issuing a red card.

Looking at the game tomorrow and The Rams have young 28-year-old John Brooks in charge of the game. Mr Brooks from Melton Mowbray has issued 30  yellow cards in just 6 games so far this season and has sent off Stokes A Williams for two bookable offences in their 3-0 defeat to Wigan on the 22nd August. Assisting Mr Brooks will be Robert Hyde and Nick Greenhalgh. The fourth official will be Geoff Eltringham.
