Huddlestone Returns!

Tom Huddlestone completed his return to Derby County last night putting pen to paper on a two year deal with an option for a third year.

Huddlestone flew back from Hull City`s training camp in Portugal to complete the deal and is delighted to be back at Pride Park. The midfielder made his debut at 16-years-old before leaving for the Premier League and Tottenham Hotspurs and has racked up nearly 500 senior appearances in his career including four caps for England. After coming back to the club where it all started for him as a professional Huddlestone told dcfc.co.uk’

“I left here at a very young age, but even then, I always said that I would want to come back at some stage. Thankfully, I am in a position where I can still perform at a high level and it`s good to be back. My last game was against Preston in the play-off semi-finals. We lost and it was a disappointing way to finish, but I am back now to try and get the club back to the Premier League.”
