Derby County`s habit of getting involved in ‘complicated` transfers appears to have continued with conflicting reports in relation to their attempts to bring Craig Forsyth to Pride Park.

Watford have stated via twitter that they have turned down a bid from a Championship club as it did not meet their valuation of the player. The previous day Nigel Clough and Sam Rush had gone on record stating that there were complications in the deal and hinted that with Watford only having fifteen players on their books that they might need to bring more players in before letting him leave. With Watford currently under a transfer embargo this adds further intrigue to the deal and it remains to be seen how much The Rams want the player after a successful loan spell last season.

Following the back and forth with the deal for Johnny Russell with Dundee United/the players` agent clearly angling for more money for the club/player and previous drawn out transfer dealings only time will tell whether the deal will eventually be completed or not.
