How would you like to ‘Live The Dream’ at Pride Park and take part in a truly memorable 90 minute match on the hallowed turf?

Well now’s your chance as Derby County have teamed up with Football Aid – www.footballaid.com – to provide fans with the unique opportunity to play at Pride Park, while raising valuable funds for the Derby County Community Trust.

Football Aid have been organising charity games for over 16 years now and are regarded as the original and best in delivering the ultimate pitch day experience. The game offers fans the unrivalled opportunity to experience a matchday in the same way the likes of Scott Carson, Richard Keogh, Matej Vydra and the rest of the squad do every other week.

As a player you’ll get the chance to pull on your exclusive personalised Derby County replica shirt in the official changing rooms, experience the thrill of walking down the tunnel to the sound of a cheering crowd and step out onto the hallowed turf proudly sporting your official playing kit and represent The Rams in a never to be forgotten 90 minutes of football!

To add to that, our matches have also been supported by a host of fantastic Derby County legends in recent years, with the likes of Roger Davies, Roy McFarland, Lee Carsley, Phil Gee, Marc Edworthy, Archie Gemmill, Michael Johnson, Robert Kozluk (and many more) all lending their extra special support by playing alongside or managing the fans on their big day.

Positions are available for Bidding from just £125 and securing a position couldn’t be easier! Just visit www.footballaid.com and choose the Derby County game, you’ll then have two options: Opt 1: Bid to Play – Enter your Maximum Bid and if you’re the highest bidder when the position closes you’ll win a place on your Field of Dreams, or Opt 2: Buy Now – Close the auction early and secure your place with a one off payment. Positions close at regular intervals throughout the bidding period, the first of the positions closed on Tuesday 13th February and final positions closing Wednesday 14th March.

Derby County fan Eoin McCafferty took part in 2017 and told Football Aid about his experience after the game:

“I have played in four Football Aid events in my time but today had to be the best. Winning 3-0 was great. Played with and against some great guys. It was a competitive game but a penalty save and clean sheet would have done me but to also finally get my hands on some silverware for Moment of the Match just topped it off. Can’t wait to get back next year.”

So if you’re keen to secure a place on your Field of Dreams this season, why not visit www.footballaid.com and sign up today! Since forming in 2001 Football Aid have allowed over 17,800 football fans the chance to Live the Dream in 674 matches all over the UK, while raising over £2.3M for charity. The unique concept was the brainchild of businessman and Football Aid Founder Craig Paterson and funds raised from this year’s event will benefit the work of a charitable project nominated by the Derby County Community Trust, as well as projects nominated by Football Aid’s parent charity Field of Dreams.
