It’s been confirmed that Nathan Ellington isn’t part of Nigel Clough’s plans next season so is returning to Watford, as had been expected.

Clough could’ve signed Ellington on a free transfer after his year-long loan, which costs Derby £1.5m, but the 27-year-old had been limited in his first-team football since Clough’s arrival at Pride Park.

All the players that were on loan with the club last season will return to their parent clubs, but some could still return on loan next season.
