Mounir El Hamdaoui is on his way back to Derby having recovered from a hernia opperation last month.
The Spurs striker, who hasn’t played since the 2-2 draw with Leicester, is under contract to the Rams until May.
Mounir had proved to be popular with supporters scoring 3 goals in his brief stays with the Rams, but seems to see the move back to Derby as unlucky!
Derby boss Terry Westley told the clubs official website: ‘We are going to look at his mental condition and if he is in the right frame of mind he will train on Thursday and will be available for selection if I want him’
It’s looking like a good week on the pitch for Derby as both Michael and Seth Johnson are on the way back too (see separate article).
