Liam Dickinson has had his loan with Huddersfield extended by another month. His initial loan expired at the weekend but Huddersfield manager Stan Ternent has now managed to extended this until 21st October.

‘Liam has been a real asset to us during his time here and I’m delighted to have him for another month, although Derby have a 24-hour recall clause now.

‘He’s done well for us and we’re more than happy to keep him.

‘He was short of games when he first came here and there’s still more to come from him, there’s no question about that. He adds real competition for places up front as well.’

Ternent was talking to Huddersfield’s official website.

Dickinson hasn’t made a first-team appearance for Derby yet since his arrival from Stockport in the summer, however Paul Jewell has said that the striker does have a future at Pride Park despite his leaving only a matter of weeks after signing.
