Liam Dickinson’s move to Leeds feel through before the transfer window, but Nigel Clough expects this to go through next week. The reason for this slight delay is to ensure that he will be available for Leeds through until the end of the season, which could include the play-off.

‘He can go for a maximum of 93 days and I think Leeds want him for the play-off final should they reach it.

‘Working back from there I think he can start on February 21, so it should all get sorted this week.’

Clough was talking to BBC Radio Derby.

The 23-year-old has already been sent out on loan to Huddersfield and Blackpool this season since his £750,000 signing from Stockport last summer.
