Liam Dickinson’s agent has claimed that the Derby striker is in talks with Brighton about a move to the League One side.

“There is a strong interest from Brighton in Liam and talks are ongoing.

The two clubs are trying to agree a fee and I don’t think they are too far apart.

Liam wants to be playing regular first team football and he knows his chances at Derby will be limited, so he is hoping a deal can be agreed with Brighton.”

Phil Sproson was talking to the Evening Telegraph.

If Brighton can offer anything close to the £750,000 we paid Stockport for the 23-year-old a year ago then there shouldn’t be much of an issue.
