One of Arsenal’s almost unlimited crop of youngsters, Nacer Barazite, has joined Derby on loan. Paul Jewell is pleased to bring in Barazite, who has joined for a month, and this might be extended for longer.
‘Nacer is young but has played in their first-team and he will come here to join up with our squad.
‘I am quite keen to get a link up with some of the top teams and I spoke to (Arsenal manager) Arsene Wenger over the summer about a few players.
‘Nacer is going to be a good player and if he does well here then hopefully we can keep him for longer than a month. He is an exciting prospect, a very good footballer, and he will be a good addition to our squad.’

The 18-year-old Dutchman has made two appearances for Arsenal and is an attacking midfielder or a striker. He made his Rams debut in the reserves yesterday where he set up two goals.
