Richard Keogh and Alex Pearce have been called up by Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill for the coming international break.

O’Neill has named a 39 man squad for the coming World Cup qualifying Group D matches next month and they play Serbia in Dublin on September 5 before facing Georgia away three days later.

There are a number of recalls for players who missed the last set of matches against Mexico, Uruguay and Austria and there are a couple of debutants who get their first experience of the senior squad.
