Derby County player ratings for the 4-1 defeat by Leeds United.

Well, it wasn’t a good opening home game for the Frank Lampard regime as the Rams crashed to a 4-1 defeat at Pride Park Yesterday.

What were your thoughts on the performances given by the players chosen by Frank? you can leave us ratings and see if we can find some positives from yesterday’s defeat.

Was the new striker Martyn Waghorn good value for his £5m or so move from Ipswich town? What was the service like from the midfield? did new defender Fikayo Tomori rate a high score despite the Rams conceding four goals?

Frank Lampard looks glum in many of the photographs from yesterday. It is a pity you can’t rate the manager but please give us your views and ratings of all the players, including substitutes from yesterday opening match.

You can give us your thoughts in the comments section below this article and also join us in the Vital Rams forum (Message board) for discussion, banter and in-depth analysis of just what happened yesterday down at Pride Park.

  • Not impressed with FLs use of substitutes,Johnson on at the right time but Mason Bennet far too late. R Keogh has been a very good servant to the club but is now past his use by date. Weizmann and Vydra sorely missed

  • How can you get rid of a 22 goals Vydra and keep a loyal ex captain who would struggle these days to get in a division 1 team, mainly through his ageing legs and very poor distribution,I wish him well at another club and thank him for his service
