Stephen Davies is likely to be sidelined for several weeks after sustaining an injury in the win over Plymouth.

The 20-year-old, who kept his place in the side ahead of fit again Kris Commons as Paul Jewell had promised, suffered a fractured eye socket and is likely to be out for several weeks. This is a blow for him, and of course us, but in Commons we have a ready-made replacement that had been a regular in the Derby side before his own injury.
