Paul Connolly, the former Plymouth defender, has moved to Leeds United on a free transfer. There was a year left on his contract but the Pride Park management have decided to release him from his contract to facilitate his move to Yorkshire.

On the move, Nigel Clough said: ‘Paul leaves with our very best wishes. He is a good professional and we wish him and his family well in the future.’
