Kris Commons looks set to complete his move to Glasgow Celtic after the clubs agreed a fee and the player reportedly completed a medical earlier today. With Rangers pulling out of a possible deal due to Commons` wage demands their Glasgow rivals wasted no time stepping in with a bid of their own which was accepted on Wednesday evening. Tom Glick confirmed the bid had been accepted and that Commons was his way north to discuss personal terms with Neil Lennon`s side telling the Derby Evening Telegraph:

“We received and accepted a bid from Celtic for the transfer of Kris and we have given both the player and Celtic permission to talk personal terms. We understand that should be happening very soon, if it has not already happened. I do not know the timetable but I expect Kris will be in Glasgow on Thursday.”
