Nigel Clough was left frustrated by another defeat on Tuesday as we came back from Plymouth with a 1-0 loss.

The Rams boss felt that we deserved something from the performance we gave but knows that’s how football sometimes works.

“We are very disappointed to lose but it was a very good performance. It’s strange that sometimes you lose and yet you play that well.

Sometimes you lose and you are so low but there is no reason for the players to feel like that.”

There is no time to sit around and feel sorry for ourselves though as we have to prepare for the big match against Forest, which Clough hopes to get a similar performance in but with a little more luck.

“We have Nottingham Forest at the weekend and I will take a performance like that – if we get the luck in front of goal.”

Clough was talking after the Plymouth defeat.
