Bournemouth manager Paul Groves remains keen on taking Miles Addison to Dean Court after the 23-year-old impressed during a loan spell in the later stages of last season. Addison spent time at Barnsley earlier in the season but failed to win a regular place in the side and having been told he would not make the first team squad on his return to Pride Park he went out on loan again and made fourteen appearances for the League One club. Despite having a year left on his contract it looks as though Addison is surplus to requirements and Nigel Clough is willing to let him move on. Talking about the transfer Groves commented:

‘Miles has lots of qualities. He would be one we would look at trying to do something with. Whether we can is another issue because you have to take into account where Miles is in respect of playing for a Championship club but that is something that will be looked into. He is contracted to Derby. We have spoken with Miles briefly with regards to his situation.’
