Roy Carroll has completed his move away from Derby to sign for Odense BK.

The 31-year-old, who has signed a three-year contract with the Danish club who finished as runners-up last season, is looking forward to football at the highest level again.

“I look forward to playing football on the highest level again.

Last season, I saw several Danish clubs against Manchester City, therefore I know it’s a tough league, but I am ready to do my best.”

Carroll was talking to Odense’s official website.

Rams boss Nigel Clough told the Northern Ireland international over the summer that he was surplus to requirement at Pride Park.
