News on just who and where the Rams will be playing will be here as soon as it is known. Join us just after 7.00pm tonight for the low-down.

As the seven teams from the Premiership who are involved in European competition now enter the fray, the chance of drawing a big name increases. However, several lower league clubs still remain in the last 32. Wycombe, Oxford United, Macclesfield, Burton Albion and Blackpool are all through to the 3rd round.

David Prutton will host the draw and he will be ably assisted by David Seaman and Joleon Lescott who will draw the team balls.

Nottingham Forest is also in the draw and a chance of an early Brian Clough Trophy game is also a mouth-watering tie, Forest securing their place in the last 32 with late-night drama, as they again won through to the next round in time added on against Premiership Newcastle United.
