Craig Bryson has put pen to paper on the new three year deal that he agreed to last month after returning from holiday to finalise the contract.

The deal will keep the midfielder at Pride Park until the summer of 2016 and he was keen to get the deal signed to secure his future at the club. Bryson joined The Rams from Kilmarnock in the summer of 2011 and his tireless performances in midfield saw him clean-up in the Player of the Year awards at the end of his first season. Injuries saw him miss a number of games during his second season but in total he has made 85 appearances for the club scoring 11 goals along the way. Talking to East Midlands today about his new deal Bryson said:

‘I don’t think my two years at Derby could have gone much better. We have a good squad and have added quality. If we improve our away form we have a good chance of going up. I have really enjoyed my time here. I settled straight away and have been loving it ever since. It’s such a big club. I am delighted. I cannot wait for pre-season to start.’
