Derby County is reported to have had a bid worth £4.75m accepted for Peterborough United’s striker Jack Marriott.
The 23-Year-Old striker was due to be part of Peterborough United’s squad for their Friendly game against Gainsborough Trinity tonight (Tue 24th July) but was replaced before kick-off.
Marriott has scored 27 goals in 44 appearances for the Posh and has been a target for Frank Lampard since his appointment as manager of the Rams. Subject to medical reports and negotiations on personal terms, Marriott should be a Derby County player before they travel to Coventry City for tomorrow evenings Friendly.
