Benny considers his Rams future

Rams American midfielder Benny Feilhaber looks set to leave Pride Park after failing to hold down a regular spot in the Rams starting eleven. The Brazilian-born Feilhaber has started just one game for the Rams this season and another seven appearances off the bench.

With Paul Jewell signing three midfielders in the January transfer window Feilhaber has been nudged down the pecking list, and looks to be struggling to break into the side.

The 22-year-old, who was signed by former Rams boss Billy Davies for £1m in the summer from German side Bayern Munich, is reported to be in talks with Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv over a reported £275,000 move.

Meanwhile, boss Paul Jewell is looking to add more new faces to his squad, with Bulgarian Under-21 duo Ivelin Popov and Ivan Ivanov to fly in for trials with the Rams this week.
