Another benefit night has been announced for Derby legend Ted McMinn. The Derby City branch of the Glasgow Rangers Supporters Club is hosting a disco and buffet on Friday April the 14th. Tickets are priced at £10.

McMinn, who had to have part of his leg removed following an illness, is raising money for the amputee department at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary and the Murray Foundation which raises funds for amputees in Scotland.

McMinn is to also ride the 300 miles on a bike from Ibrox to Pride Park starting on the 8th of April, He hopes to compete this within a week, and he has plenty of support for this including ex Rams star Bobby Davison.

The culmination of events will be a Derby County vs. A ?Glasgow Rangers Nine-in-a-row? side. This match will be played on the Bank Holiday, Monday May the 1st.

£14,000 has been raised so far, for more details go to www.ted-mcminn.co.uk Or if you?d prefer donations can be sent to S. Warrington; Northcliffe House, Meadow Road, DERBY, DE1 2DW
