Anya – Hard Work Needed

Ikechi Anya knows that the Derby County squad are going to have to work hard if they want to be part of the new look squad next season.

Anya was in and out of the side under three managers last season making a total of twenty-seven appearances but say enough of what Gary Rowett wants from his side in the nine games he took charge of to know what will be expected next time around. Talking to dcfc.co.uk Anya said:

“The hard work ethic is the biggest thing he has introduced. The manager has been a grafter and has that quality about him. You can see in the games later in the season that he`s managed to get performances and results out of us; the form we showed towards the end of the season wasn`t so bad. I think with more time, establishing his own squad as well, things will only improve.”
